Ep. 40 - Authentic Warrior Radio feat. Justin Johnson
Justin wrote his own blurb. Thank you Justin!
"As a young boy, I always knew one day I would be thrust into the spotlight and make a name for myself. My day has come, and I'm here looking down on everyone that seems so small to me now. I am a GOD amongst men. Thank you."
- Justin Johnson
Topics discussed: loving people, satire, my small bladder, Texas, pizza, sexuality, and much, much more.
Ep. 39 - Authentic Warrior Radio feat. Ali Paige Michelin
For episode 39, we have an account of my wonderful friend Ali and I galivanting around the space-time continuum, through a delightfully twisty and turny wormhole of conversation. Topics discussed include (but are not limited to): hip-hop, nonviolent communication, metal, body image, compassionate self talk, maidens, crones, non-monogamy, Karen Horney and social penis envy, penis wielders, vulva havers, gratitude, empathy, cuddling, listening, panromanticism…

Ep. 38 - Authentic Warrior Radio feat. Bobby Ellingsen
In episode 38, I had a real conversation with my friend Bobby. We discussed resilience, boundaries, self-awareness, parenting, compassion, broken government programs, not spreading s****y day energy, how we think and feel about the experience of authenticity, and his negative first impression of me.
This episode is packed full of value and meaningful dialogue. I included an intro that focused on what I've learned and taught about boundaries. The outro, featuring Claire Sarff-Foden, a licensed therapist, discusses the task of communicating with a friend about seeking counseling.
This episode is different than most of the ones I've posted. Please let me know what you think about it!
Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others
Ep. 37 - Authentic Warrior Radio feat. Claire Sarff-Foden
In episode 37, Claire and I went hiking up Chuckanut Mountain together, and took turns answering 12 questions, as a response to this article. This is the first of three episodes we'll be recording, each with a set of 12 questions, totaling 36. The questions are supposedly designed to facilitate vulnerability and exposure. We decided to turn it into a playful experiment. Let us know what you think!
Ep. 36 - Authentic Warrior Radio feat. Benji Warrior (Interviewed by Claire Foden)
Yo! It's been a while! I'm back, with Authentic Warrior Radio version 3000.0!
For the first time ever, I've decided to be a guest on my own podcast. In this episode, Claire asks me some questions about the podcast, including what I've been up to since I stopped posting, why I took a break, what I've learned, what I've inspired me to start this podcast in the first place, what inspires me to continue it now, and what changes I plan to make going forward with the show. We also talk a bit about a zillion other things.
I have a backlog of episodes from last year, that I'll be posting between new episodes. I implore you to email me or message/comment on social media, to let me know what you think about the changes I mention, what you'd like to see and hear going forward, who you'd like me to have on the show. What were your favorite qualities of AWR, before? What would you like to hear more or less of? Are you or a friend inspired to be on the show?
Thank you very much for checking this out. I'm looking forward to connecting!!!
A great new podcast, he should be known!
A cleverly put together podcast by a driven man. Very witty, silly humor keeps your attention. He gets the message out there to inspire kindness, courage and to educate ourselves. Very well spoken gentleman, can't wait to hear more.
I've listened to every single one!!! Unpredictable, intelligent, creative all around, and entertaining. I like hearing about other people's experiences in that raw way that happens when two people are privately talking. Benji's podcast is raising my awareness of the people in my community. I'm waiting for the next one!!!!!
Very well rounded podcast
I like how goofy it is.
