The USL decided to roll the dice on a return to play on 7/11 (#DadJoke), and Jason and Paul go over what this is means for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, and what’s been decided, what hasn’t been decided for the 2020 season. With COVID-19 surging back, and civil unrest the past month, the return of the USL is a welcome distraction, but is it safe for the players, the employees, and fans?

Jason and Paul take a break out of social isolation and talk about the COVID-19 shutdown of the USL and what that means to the Switchbacks, its supporters, and the city of Colorado Springs. They try to decipher what it would take for play to resume, what a 2020 season might look like, and pro/rel possibly coming to the USL Championship in the near future.

Jason and Paul wrap up a memorably forgettable season for the Switchbacks. 3 head coaches, teenagers running amok, new stadiums and affiliations, and a serious lack of wins saw the Boys in Black and Blue in last place in the Western Conference.  The guys discuss what went wrong, what went right, and what to look for in 2020.

It’s been a mixed bag for the Switchbacks the past few weeks, building a 4 game unbeaten streak at home, losing to Four Corner Cup rival Real Monarchs on a last minute goal, and being murdered in Reno. Jason and Paul also crunch the numbers on the Switchbacks playoff hopes, Abe Rodriguez’s new contract, and a call to fans to show up for the final home games to support and show love to the Original Switchbacks from 2015

Paul and Jason bask in back-to-back victories against Tulsa and Oklahoma City, hop onto the Austin Dewing bandwagon, and lament the lack of parking for the new stadium.
