I LOVE THIS PODCAST.

Each episode explores a different subgenre of psytrance, leaving the listener to decide which they enjoy best. Among my favorites are psybient, with its glitchy, downtempo sound and ultra-relaxing mood; full-on and its pushy, frenetic melodies; dark psy for its wicked, haunting soundscapes and tachycardic BPM; and prog for its club-friendly appeal and beautiful rolling basslines. You'll also hear the likes of psybreaks, which mixes in breakbeat rhythms, and freeform Suomi, which has a uniquely Scandanavian flavor.
