Thom "Dutch" Ressler through-hiked the appalachian trail in 2003, and shortly after founded the famous cottage vendor company - Dutchware Gear.  Since then, Dutchware as explosed on the hammock scene by pioneering ultralight hammocks, as well as other backpacking gear.  We sit down with Dutch and talk to about the history of dutchware and how he got into hammocks, his AT through hike, how dutchware is providing PPE during the pandemic, his thoughts on what the next great hammock technology will be, and the entire process of prototyping and building his new banyan hammock.
