Opened My Eyes
This Podcast opened my eyes to another form of oppression I hadn't really considered, even though I would identify myself as a plus size woman. I really appreciate their focus on intersectionality, I am a white feminist, but it is so important to hear voices of other people in different situations. I was glad to hear on the latest episode that they are going to start focusing more on issues and less on the "garbage fires", which are funny, but it will be nice to get some more substance!
This podcast is everything!
Thank you for doing this, the intersectional lens you bring to the issues and garbage fires you all discuss and the authenticity with which you honor who you both are. I love it and it has meant so much to me to listen to these episodes and feel validated in myself and my experiences. Look forward to the rest of Season 2!
Audio issues
If they fixed their audio issues, I might consider listening again. That said, it's very negative in a way that I found off-putting. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day...for every episode I tried. I recommend "the reclaiming your podcast" if you want a different feel and check out the related podcasts from there. To each their own, however.
