Education is the foundation of successful trading and community/support is the glue that holds it all together. At Band of Traders, our mission is to provide you with educational resources to sharpen your trading skills.

Our thriving Discord community is a great source of inspiration, motivation and camaraderie. We are bringing together traders of all levels for no-nonsense insights into the trading world. We don’t sugarcoat the truth because traders must have the ability to evaluate their trades, strategies and emotional states in order to achieve personal growth. That growth is an integral part of becoming a master trader. We believe that we are stronger together, learn more together, and have better trades together.

Our weekly Round Table episodes are casual conversations about the week's trading lessons, educational content, strategies, and all things trading. Our rotation of co-hosts keeps the discussions fresh. Plus, once a month, we’ve got a special treat – a Round Table with expert guests to dive deep into a specific topic. These episodes drop on Mondays. On Thursdays we release our in-depth guest interviews and informative miniseries episodes, all with a focus on trading and trader education. We cover a wide range of topics including stocks and options, FOREX, and futures.

Don’t just listen, get involved! Our community members not only share insights, trade ideas, charts and journals, they actively participate in podcast content. Beyond suggesting possible guests, we encourage our listeners to consider recording an episode with us and an expert guest they have questions for. Many of our guests also participate in our Discord discussions, giving traders of all levels opportunities to learn and connect.

Explore our episodes, connect with fellow traders, learn from each other’s successes and failures, and grow as we trade together.

About Kyle:Kyle (along with many others) found themselves increasingly drawn to active trading during the lockdowns. Daily discussions about trades, interests, lessons learned, and occasional setbacks with co-founder Dan laid the foundation for what would become the 2 Bulls in a China Shop and Band of Traders podcasts. Their self-deprecating humor and candid discussions about their trading experiences became the catalyst for a podcast that resonated with a broader audience.
The podcast not only opened doors to new communities but also became a platform for sharing insights and learning opportunities. For Kyle, it was a revelation — a discovery of true passion in trading, learning, and community building. Kyle's mission with the Band of Traders podcast is rooted in his personal journey. He aims to demystify trading, making it accessible to individuals at all levels of experience. Through educational resources and a thriving Discord community, the Band of Traders podcast empowers traders, fostering an environment where knowledge is shared, insights are exchanged, and a sense of camaraderie thrives.

About Zen:Zen began his trading journey in March 2020, diving into the financial markets during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially having little knowledge of investing, he was inspired by a friend's suggestion to capitalize on the market downturn, leading him to experiment with a small investment on Robinhood. His early success with a mortgage REIT sparked a deeper interest in trading.
Over time, Zen expanded his skills, moving from swing trading small caps to trading options, and eventually found success in scalping shares. In 2023, Zen attempted to trade full-time and did well, especially trading Tesla. However, a few personal mistakes led him to step back and reassess his approach. Currently, he is focused on disciplined trading with a healthier balance, continuing to trade individual stocks and options on a smaller scale.
