Awesome Podcast

My favorite d&d podcast by far. It’s well done and entertaining. Im caught up now and I get a little down when I come to the end of a new episode. One note: don’t listen to it when on a treadmill. You might start laughing so hard that you almost fall off. Just a possibility. You have been warned.

A great example of how D&D is played

I mean this as no insult when I say this podcast is not polished. There are plenty of D&D podcast that are famous for the DM's great storytelling abilities and the players strong role playing and voice work. Then there are other podcast on the other end that are just a couple of guys playing at D&D. If you are wondering how a real game should be played then this is it. This podcast has all the elements that you will find in a normal well played D&D group. You are going to have conflicts between characters and players. Players doing stupid stuff just to do stupid stuff. "I check for traps on the door." "How do you check for traps?" "I jiggle the handle and stuff." They know what they need to do and the DM let's them do what ever they want. It is amazing to hear how the DM keeps up with all the crazy choices that his players make. Their game is not so much controlled by the DM but ridden by the DM like a wild bronco. If you are going to be a DM then this podcast is a must. You can listen to hours of How to run a game or FB posts on how to handle a situation or you can listen to an actual game and through the course of the season you will hear all the answers to your questions. Listen to just three podcast and get the feel of these guys then decide how you feel about them. I started listening to these guys first and have tried to listen to others but they just don't compare to Bards & Nobles.
