BASEDBrief: The gross politicization of a national tragedy

BASEDBrief: The gross politicization of a national tragedy

Americans are mourning the loss of 5 innocent people after a tragic shooting at a gay club in Colorado Springs—but some left-wing politicians and activists are already exploiting this tragedy to smear their political opponents and advance an ideological agenda. Brad & Hannah react to this narrative coming from the likes of AOC and David Hogg and analyze the real lessons we should be taking away from this incident.
Then, they talk about the Iranian soccer team's brave stance against tyranny at the World Cup. Is this what actual virtue, not virtue signaling, looks like? Plus, they react to Elon Musk restoring Donald Trump's Twitter account and the hilariously unhinged meltdown this development prompted.
In this week's "Very Online," Brad & Hannah discuss some insightful political analysis from a Fox News interview with hip-hop media star Charlemagne Tha God and analyze Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy's viral beef with the New York Times. Finally, they read hate comments and round it out with some hot takes.

BASEDBrief: Is this HUGE crypto scandal capitalism’s fault?

BASEDBrief: Is this HUGE crypto scandal capitalism’s fault?

Brad & Hannah break down the biggest financial scandal since Bernie Madoff: The implosion of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and the disgrace of Sam Bankman-Fried. They explain the complicated saga that’s left countless Americans in a lurch in a simple way that non-crypto people can easily understand — then address the question many progressives are raising: is this the fault of “unregulated capitalism”?
Then, they react to a shocking confession from a DEA agent about the War on Drugs and a New York Times report that FBI informants were thoroughly involved in the January 6 riot.  Finally, they respond to the disturbing incident where far-right commentator Ann Coulter was shouted down by left-wing activists at Cornell University, read listener comments, and drop some food hot takes.

BASEDBrief: Let's (Not) Talk About the Election

BASEDBrief: Let's (Not) Talk About the Election

Everybody's going to over-analyze Tuesday's election ad nauseam, so Brad & Hannah decided to talk about everything ELSE that's going on this week. They break down the looming end of Affirmative Action and the COP 27 climate summit world leaders are attending... that involves INSANE amounts of CO2 emissions. Then, they react to an unhinged COVID take, roast an MSNBC host's embarrassing inflation argument, and react to a funny SNL skit that triggered the COVID Karens.
Oh, and they wrap up by discussing the weird TV show that named a... sex pillow (?!?!) after Brad. Yes, you read that correctly.

Great Show

Finally a news source that only has a bias for Red, White and Blue instead of just Red or Blue

It’s taken decades before the border states resorted to this stunt. Basically calling leftist elites bluff. The leftist didn’t handle it will because they shipped the migrants out quickly.

There’s a real problem with immigration. The non-border blue states are the problem. The border states are tired of the problem and tired of being called racist.

The stunt is a cry for attention to the problem illustrating that leftist are virtue signaling with zero interest in solving the problem. Leftist need the issue to campaign on to maintain power.
