#17 - Succession - Taking over as CEO of an established company with Paul Pomeroy
Long time friend of ours, Paul Pomeroy, talks about his role as CEO at Advertising Agency, Aloysius Butler & Clark. ABC is a 50 year old company with footprints well beyond Delaware, and Paul is now at the helm. Hear him share stories of being a bigger part of a company that he long worked for, making the transition to him as CEO, and how he hopes to not screw up what he is now in charge of. Paul also turns the questioning onto us for an interesting discussion from both sides of changing ownership.
Shout out to Nashville and Annapolis legend, Skribe, for the music.

#15 - Starting Up a Non-Profit
This month, Patrick and I talk to Priscilla Turgon, Founder and Executive Director of Project New Start. This incredibly impactful Delaware organization creates a learning program for justice involved to learn life skills to be successful upon release and more importantly, not return to prison. Not your typical start up, for sure, but we are certain you will appreciate hearing about starting a different kind of business than we typically discuss.
As always, big thank you to Nashville musician and friend, Skribe for the intro-outdo song. Be sure to check him out as he tours the country.

#13 - NCC Exec Matt Meyer on Mission Focused Entrepreneurship
We have a great podcast with New Castle County Executive, Matt Meyer, on his rich past being involved with Entrepreneurship, both in and out of government. We recorded it at the impactful Route 9 Library and Innovation Center.
Our wide ranging discussion covered selling shoes in Africa, converting a hotel to emergency shelter and how you don't have to be on your own to act like an entrepreneur.
The story of the Hope Center's transformation from a hotel to emergency shelter was told in this emmy-winning short. Definitely worth a watch.

Hat over the fence
Great conversation about taking chances. Waiting for my call to be a guest - what’s the non-profit equivalent on an entrepreneur? #nontrepreneur
Love this podcast…..
A hidden gem. This is what these things should be - anecdotes and discussion around real events (e.g. hiring your first employee) that are impactful to entrepreneurs. Inspires me to be one!
