A Fun Listen

I just recently stumbled across this podcast. It has been fun to fill in the gaps on artists whose music II was only marginally familiar with like Buffalo Springfield, The Ramones and Songs the Beatles gave away. I was more critical of the shows on artists I knew well (Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon and, especiall, Richard Thompson). Batty seemed to stop around 1998 with Thompson despite the fact that much of his best work has been in the 21st century. Still, the podcasts are all good if you're a baby boomer music junkie. I'm anxious to hear what he chose to play from Dylan and Ray Charles.

Thoughtful host, awesome music

What a great find. I found this podcast by searching for Bill Withers music and what a find! The host is thoughtful about the history and culture of the band/musician but also of the time their music was released. Please start back up and do more podcasts!
