Bavarian Podcast Works: Weekend Warm-up Podcast Season 3, Episode 21 — Why is Bayern Munich scuffling (but winning) right now?; Is Florian Wirtz a player Bayern should invest heavily in?; and MORE!
It has been a bit of a crazy week for Bayern Munich.
There was a boring win, followed by a more boring draw, but there was a whole of news in between, so in short, we have plenty to discuss.
Let’s take a look at that is on tap for this episode:

Bavarian Podcast Works: Preview Show — Bayern Munich vs. Union Berlin (Bundesliga)
The Bundesliga action is back for Bayern Munich this weekend as the Bavarians will take on Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena.
For the Bavarians, a win is needed to keep pace with red-hot Bayer Leverkusen, the table-toppers in the league. Meanwhile, Union Berlin has had a putrid season, so far, and is in desperate need of a reboot to get back on the right track.
Desperation, however, might not be enough for Die Eisernen as Bayern Munich will undoubtedly be looking to shake off the cobwebs from an unfortunate midweek draw with FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.
Let’s take a look at what is on tap for this episode:
A rundown of where each team in the standings and look at the recent form of the clubs.
A guess at what Thomas Tuchel might be thinking for his starting XI.
A prediction on the match. -
Bavarian Podcast Works: Postgame Show — Bayern Munich 0-0 FC Copenhagen (Champions League)
Bayern Munich and FC Copenhagen battled to a 0-0 draw in the Champions League in a game that no one really seemed to put much effort into.
For the second consecutive match, Bayern Munich did not have too much pep in its step. The Bavarians had trouble getting going offensively against the compact and conservative approach from the Danish side.
It would have been nice to Bayern Munich find a way to breakthrough FC Copenhagen. but it was not meant to be on this day. Let’s just get down to it...this is what we have on tap for this podcast:
A look at the starting XI and what Tuchel did differently in this match.
A rundown of the scoring, err, substitutions — what did you think about the non-handball call?
Some thoughts on why the game was sooooo boring and a reminder that Manuel Neuer is the best in the business.
Where does Bayern Munich from here?
