Rogelio sets out to find the perfect place to perform his, Brianna's and Helen's play.

    Narrator: Male

    Story Begins: 4:13

    Spectacular Stage Excerpt:

In the sunny, cheerful Ahway Island park, Rogelio ventured out to find the perfect spot to perform the play that he, Brianna, and Helen were creating. The park was very busy because it was such a gorgeous day. The sun beamed down from a bright, blue sky, but a cool breeze rustled the leaves of the trees. The sound of laughter danced through the air as kids giggled and played, running around in the warm weather.

As Rogelio strolled past the playground, he stopped at the swing set and watched two children swinging high into the sky, kicking their feet up into the air. At the colorful slide nearby, another whooshed down with squeals of joy. They were having so much fun!

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine sunlight warming you as you lie in a grassy meadow.

    776. 5-4-3-2-1: a meditation and story for your bedtime routine

Sadie Seahorse counts down her 5 senses to help her relax when she's overwhelmed.

    Narrator: Female

    Story Begins: 3:53

    5-4-3-2-1 Excerpt:

On a sunny morning in the vibrant Ahway Island reef, the underwater community was bustling with life. Colorful fish darted between swaying coral towers, dolphins leaped in playful arcs, and even the tiny seashells seemed to dance in the gentle currents. The whole reef was buzzing with activity, from the busy chatter of the crabs rearranging their homes, to the melodious hum of the seashells clinking together. All of this liveliness was leading up to something special. Today, the creatures of the reef were having a big party to celebrate the beautiful day!

Sadie Seahorse drifted close to the sandy seafloor as she watched the other creatures preparing for the grand party. Sadie loved the gentle feeling of the sand beneath her belly. It was her safety sand – a place where she felt calm and relaxed.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine you are a baby penguin snuggled close to its papa.

    371. Careful! Ducks! a bedtime story on acceptance for kids

Bobby the bus uses his stop sign to say "Careful! Ducks!" to the passing cars. With his help the duck family makes their way to the pond safely.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Careful! Ducks!” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

    Narrator: Female

    Story Begins: 7:48

    Careful! Ducks! Excerpt:

Bobby the school bus smiled as he slowed to a stop in front of the red brick building. He held his stop sign out proudly, telling the other cars to wait. Seeing that it was safe, the school bus opened his doors and the kids filed off, eager to discover what they would learn today. Having completed his route, Bobby thought about what he might do for the rest of his morning. It would be awhile before he was needed to bring the kids home. A gentle breeze swirled blossoms and leaves around the little bus. Bobby took a deep dragon breath, in and out, enjoying the fresh spring air. Bobby decided to go for a little drive to see spring’s effects on their little town.

Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach.

    775. A Storm and a Story: a calming nap time story with a positive message

    775. A Storm and a Story: a calming nap time story with a positive message

After a frightening thunder storm, Dragon's friends come to visit and ask for a story.

    Narrator: Female

    Story Begins: 3:41

    Dozing Dragon Excerpt:

Raindrops dripped from the leaves in the enchanted forest. It was a soft lullaby, and Dragon sat by a patch of mushrooms, tap-tap-tapping paws to the soothing rhythm. Dragon didn’t mind getting a little wet once in a while. This rain was just a gentle shower. But then, the rain began to pour more rapidly, and the soft tapping turned into a loud drumbeat. Soon, the forest echoed with a loud rumble, followed by a crash and a flash of lightning. The clouds were thundering.

The sudden noises were startling, and Dragon jumped up and swiftly zipped back home, curling into a tight ball with eyes and ears covered. The little dragon felt safer in the darkness. Meanwhile, the crashing song of the rain started to relax, and eventually, it ceased.

Today’s Meditation: Picture floating in the safe and comforting waters of a tranquil pool.

    774. Sunshine and Sniffs: a bedtime story and mindful story for kids

Jewel the dog goes for a different type of walk on a hot day.

    Narrator: Male

    Story Begins: 3:47

    Sunshine and Sniffs Excerpt:

In a tall building on Ahway Island, nestled within a small apartment, there lived a small and fluffy dog named Jewel. She had found her forever home a few months back, after a kind and caring young man had adopted her from the Ahway Island Animal Shelter. Since her arrival, Jewel had grown to adore their cozy little apartment.

Every day, Jewel would curl up on their squishy couch while her person tap-tap-tapped away on a laptop. She often tilted her head and watched the screen with a curious expression, wondering what was so fascinating about this glowing box.

But her absolute favorite part of the day was the afternoons. It was the time when her person set aside his work, put on his comfy walking shoes, and grabbed her leash. This was Jewel’s sign that it was time to go outside for a long, leisurely walk around Ahway Island.

Today’s Meditation: Feel your body fill with love as you imagine a puffin family and think about your own unique family.

Two little sharks, Shayla and Santiago play in the soothing sea, diving down to the ocean floor from the surface, and returning to the warmth of the sunlit waters.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Soothing Sea,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

    Soothing Sea Excerpt:

Sunshine sparkled on the rolling waves. As sunlight filtered down the deep blue waters slowly lightened into a brilliant turquoise. Feeling the change from night to day, Santiago Shark peeked above the waves to watch the sunrise. Awed by the dance of colors across the sky, Santiago didn’t notice his friend Shayla had popped up right next to him. “Isn’t it beautiful?” she asked.

Focused on the sunrise, Santiago jumped. Shayla giggled and apologized, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

Santiago smiled and replied, “That’s okay, Shayla. I’m glad you’re here. Isn’t the sky beautiful this morning?”
