[Originally aired 4/20/20] Feeling lonely? Me too (sometimes), and I recorded a love note for you straight from the heart (and my bedroom closet). I’m talking everything from healthy solitude, to the heavy feeling on your chest, to judging yourself for being ‘totally lame’ (and how to get out of it). I’ll also got into ways to find more REAL connection with awesome humans (who are also doing this whole self-love thing). Love, Eliza.

[ReBroadcast] Drinking, Feelings + Being Enough with Holly Whitaker

[Originally aired 3/30/20] Hey love, episode 2 is up & I decided to dive in with a bang and talk alcohol, awkwardness, being queer, and not feeling like you’re enough with one of my sheroes, Holly Whitaker. Holly is the author of the new book ‘Quit Like a Woman’ (recommended for adults and older teens), and the founder of Tempest. If you’re ready for a new kind of conversation about drinking (that gets nerdy about feminism, marketing, corporations, and how to love ourselves better), this is it. Love

Relearning how to ~be~ a teenage girl

Eliza is the coolest mentor ever. The things she teaches totally blow my mind. This podcast makes me feel like I have the best big sister wrapping me in a hug showing me how everything will be okay and I am not crazy. Every teenage girl needs to experience this wisdom.

Impressive!

Eliza is a joy to listen to! I feel more relaxed after listening. She's smart, savvy, and authentic, and I learn something every time I listen to her podcast even though it’s kind of geared for a younger population (I am in my 50s). I wish I had some sort of opportunity like this when I was a teenager -- an opportunity to be mentored, coached, and unconditionally loved by a well-balanced, healthy, experienced big-sister type. My teens and twenties likely would have gone more smoothly. Nonetheless, it can help me be kinder to myself and help others. I highly recommend you give it a listen!
