Shannon has been the leader of the grassroots movement Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, and she and Kristen discuss an epidemic in this country; gun violence. They talk about how & why Shannon started this group, how she handles the daily threats and negative posts from the NRA, and what she and her group actually stand for. Prior to starting Moms Demand, Shannon was a mom and PR guru, who was mortified at what happened at Sandy Hook, so she decided to do something about it.
