A life and marriage saver!
Whether you’re a Christian or not, pornography eats away at marriages, families and all relationships in general. It conditions us to be not only self serving and disrespectful to the women and men we are objectifying, it trains us to be secretive and dishonest with others and to ourselves as well. Pornography erodes all relationships. I have been blessed by John Doyle and the ministry of 180. This podcast shares that there is hope and freedom in Recovery from pornography and sexual addiction, (yes, it IS an addiction)!
This podcast is real, but not crass and is filled with gem sized pieces of wisdom from someone who has indeed walked in our shoes.
Agreed - what said below
John has a great voice speaks very charismatic to us individuals who tend to stay stuck inside this evil addictive sin which causes ourselves to self please or just glance at females with eyes full of Lust rather than eyes full of beautifulness Gods created beautiful individuals we end up falling in love with. Us men stumble occasionally or we get bored so we figure lets kill time..... look at porn think nothing of it tell yourself oh ya you’ve got control your only looking......... Been there as well! Unfortunately done this quite frequently and this whole stating oh it’s just one last time, eventually causes you to go beyond just looking at porn but then self pleasing yourself which then starts feeding your hormones and you (explode) heh me cheesy way of saying self ejactulation... Yes I am aware my writhing may be hard to understand but I am thankful and very appreciative of all of Johns emails/podcasts God allows us to stumble because he wants his children to go to Heaven with confidence. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
