Becoming Insatiable: Breaking through 7 basic fears and living an inspired life of meaning‪.‬ The Self Help Antidote

    • Self-Improvement

Where in your life are you spontaneously disciplined and authentic?
The answer to that question has the potential to shatter the harmful misconceptions you’ve been taught about yourself, while leading you to discover one of the most liberating truths of your lifetime.  Your inner truth about who you are, what you find most meaningful, and what you are meant to do.  I’m not talking about your career, that’s what you’re paid for.  I am talking about your calling, what you’re made for.

The insights in this episode can shape your life in ways you may not appreciate until you've listened to it in its entirety.  I know they've changed my life in ways that has been invaluable.
My guest for this episode is Dr. John Demartini.
After grappling with physical deformities, dyslexia and a speech impediment, Dr. Demartini made the decision to leave school after one of his teachers told his parents that since he couldn’t read, write or communicate very well, he’d never go far in life.  He travelled to Hawaii, where a few years later at the age of 17, he nearly lost his life after an experience with strychnine poisoning.  It was that experience and the things that John would soon learn about himself that set a deep foundation for the heights that he would ascend to in his life.  He discovered that his unique set of challenges and all the things he believed he lacked, were the exact ingredients that helped him identify his highest values and what would become an insatiable pursuit of a deeply rewarding, lifelong mission.
This mission led Dr. Demartini to travel over 360 days a year to over 56 countries, to share his research and findings across the globe. He is the author of over forty books*, published in 14 different languages. He has produced over 50 CDs and DVDs covering subjects such as personal development, relationships, wealth, education, chiropractic and business. He has created over 72 different courses, the most advanced of them is a 21-year correspondence course. Each program is designed to assist the individual to empower and activate leadership and potential in all the seven areas of their life.
I have personally followed Dr. DeMartini’s work for quite a long time.  His book “The Values Factor” was required reading for the leadership team I was part of at one of the largest health club chains in the world.  I loved this episode.  I believe that the insights he shares in it can lay the groundwork for what could be one of the most profoundly transformational discoveries in your life.
Enjoy the episode.  As you listen, consider what you believe to be the most important thing you are learning about yourself.  This conversation may be the beginning of an extraordinary transformation in your life, leaving you both free and inspired.
