    Hi!

I lacked time to deal with a guest this week so I'm throwing up a placeholder which is me tellin you a roundabout way that phonographics was born.

I actually enjoyed telling the story but as my brain works, each story is attached to 20 others, especially when it's about something I've been doin for almost 30 years, which is screenprinting.

I'm headed to San Francisco to pop up and sell my wares at Madone Art Bar on Saturday 3/27/2021. if you're around tha Bay I'd love to see you.

Episode 21 | Rafael Bustamante Sarria

    Aw YEAH!

Episode 21 of Been Doin' This is real good! My guest is Rafael Bustamante Sarria from the might La Gente SF. We had an awesome conversation about his musical journey, his San Francisco roots and you'll hear how what influenced him at an early age led to exactly what he's become: A creator, collaborator, co-conspirator and comrade.
PLUS at the end the episode you will get to hear kind of an EXCLUSIVE new track from his band 'SUAVATONA"!

Not a bad deal at all, eh?

    Episode 20 | Philthy Dronez

    Yes yes y'all

This episode of Been Doin' This was really cool to record. I explain in the intro, but there were some surprising similarities that Philthy Dronez and I have in common. You've heard his music in my Paletas mixtapes so I asked him to come on and talk about how he became a multi instumentalist. His influences musically might not be what you expect!

    Episode 19!

Hi y'all! I'm back with another one!

This time with another bartender from Madrone Art Bar in San Francisco, this time there's a twist!

Krista Nakamura has been a trained pastry chef for a number of years and her COVID-19 pivot was from bartending a full sweaty bar, back to her roots. She offers SUPER CUTE lil meal kits along with custom ckaes and delicious baked goods!

Super fun conversation cause I love to cook as well! There are a couple pauses where I'm blank staring into the ZOOM camera cause her answers kinda blow me away.

    Episode 18| Rojai

    Episode 18| Rojai

This episode's guest is arguably the hardest working frontman in San Francisco's music scene.

    ROJAI
You may know him from the legendary band, Bayonics, heard his work with E Live or B Bravo or seen his quartet The Pocket in a smaller venue if you've been around The City in the last 21 years. He has put out an incredible about of music and his versatility is far understated.

We talk about his career and motivations, maintaining a living as a musician in San Francisco and all of his projects and collaborations. I love this dude, and you will too.

Here's some links for you to follow, listen to more of his vast catalog and support!

JayHutch603 ,

You should listen to Been Doin’ This

This is a nice podcast by a guy who claims to have a “great voice”. These claims are substantiated by the evidence put forth episode after episode. If you’ve listened to other podcasts in the past and were turned off to the medium by a bunch of terrible voice people (they’re everywhere), give podcasts another try with Been Doin’ This. It will not disappoint!
