Episode 67: Cavity Search ft. Dr. Dank & Warheads Black Cherry
We’re doing the only thing we could do for St. Paddy’s Day… We’re talking about a parody of a U2 song! “Cavity Search” is a parody of “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me”… but we didn’t always know that. Listen in as we muse over our brews, talk about some dental stuff (because cavity search), take a detour through some Nintendo stuff, John has a musical interlude, share some tales from urgent care, Lauren discusses her hot dentists, we plug our family meat, some Frasier talk, prescription woes, some RSVLTS talk, and so much more!
Lauren has Dr. Dank Pineapple Dream from Wicked Weed Brewing. John has Warheads Black Cherry Sour Ale from Artisanal Brew Works. Cheers!

Very Special Episode: EverTrending "Weird Al" Story ft. Garret
It's time for something completely different!
Our buddy Garret from the OddPods Media Network show the EverTrending Story podcast joins me today to give "Weird Al" the EverTrending treatment. He brough his show's format over to us, and boy do we have a good time! Listen for a completely unique and made-up romantic comedy featuring some of our favorite things about "Weird Al" Yankovic. We also spend some time talking about how awesome "Weird Al" is. Because duh.

Episode 66: Close But No Cigar ft. Jai Alai & Cafe Con Leche
Are we lobbing hand greneades, kiddo? No, I don't think we are! We're talking "Close but No Cigar" today here on ye olde Beer'd Al Podcast. We love this Cake pastiche so much that it's number six on our list! (For now. John's grand rerank plans are supposedly pending.) Listen in as we take a fun journey through Cake, the VIBRASLAP, Jai Alai, cake preferences, some bad jokes, and so much more!
Lauren has Jai Alai from Cigar City Brewing. John has Cafe Con Leche from Cigar City Brewing. Yep. We both went with Cigar City Brewing. Cheers!

Bonus Episode: "Showgals: The Movie"
There are people that do very special things. And then there are people that do very weird and very special things. And then there are people that do very weird and very special and very amazing things. And then there are these people. Who are these people? These people are the beautiful humans behind the "Weird Al" burlesque documentary Showgals: The Movie.
You may not think that "Weird Al" and burlesque go together... and you could not be more WRONG. UHJeff and Jonathan are trying to put something beautiful and amazing out into the world. And that beautiful and amazing thing is a documentary about the "Tight & Nerdy" burlesque show. We need this. The world needs this. This is one of the most amazing things that's ever happened.
Listen in as we talk about the film, its subjects, and the amazing legacy "Weird Al" has cultivated among his legions of fans.
YOU NEED TO BACK THIS KICKSTARTER. IMMEDIATELY.

Very Special Episode: Scarif Beach Party ft. Tim from PTE & BB
Our buddy Tim is back! It's been a hot minute, but he's back! And he's back to discuss three of his favorite things in the world: "Weird Al," Star Wars, and Lego. How do these three things intersect? With the straight-up bop that is "Scarif Beach Party" from Lego Star Wars: Summer Vacation, that's how! Listen in as we discuss this song, Al's place in the Star Wars canon, and so much more.
Tim is one of the fine folks that bring you the Pub Trivia Experience and Boozy Bracketology podcasts. Check them out wherever fine podcasts are sold!

Episode 65: Melanie ft. Peeper & Hard Mountain Dew
What can the problem be? This week we're discussing the much-loved track "Melanie" from 1988's Even Worse. We're rounding out our three weeks of looooooove with a sweet song about a stalker. Makes sense, right? We had a lot of laughs (MELON!), and we hope you do, too!
John has Peeper from Maine Beer Company. Lauren has Hard Mountain Dew Watermelon and Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast from Green Rebel Brewing Company. Cheers!

Customer Reviews
Awesome
Awesome podcast about an awesome topic. Fighting the good fight of giving Weird Al the adulation he deserves, and being very funny and delightful doing it.
An Absolutely Fun Podcast!!!
This is such a fun podcast on all things Weird Al, his music and even what beers go along with his songs. I’ve been a casual Weird Al fan since the days of “Eat It”. But Lauren has turned me to a full fledged Weird Al fan after hearing she and her brother discuss their love for Weird Al and his music. Even if you’re not a beer drinker, this podcast still has something for everyone. They will have you laughing and learning some new things.
Always entertaining!
Weird Al fans will regard this pod like a 1955 doubled-die Denver mint penny.
