You're Doing Better Than You Think - Here's Proof

You're Doing Better Than You Think - Here's Proof

If you’re a few weeks into the new school year, the harsh realities of teacher responsibilities and a constant overwhelming amount of stress have probably already sunk in. And unfortunately, when that happens, we begin to doubt ourselves which leads to comparing ourselves to more experienced teachers.
Likewise, as new teachers, we’re often told that our skills and quality instruction isn’t to the standards of those veteran teachers. However, I’m here to tell you the exact opposite! The findings from a new study in Australia Education Researcher will give you the positivity you’ve been searching for.

When Things Don't Go as Planned

When Things Don't Go as Planned

As teachers, we’re natural planners, both professionally and personally. That’s why it gives us immense stress when aspects of our life aren’t planned, so can you imagine what it’s like when things don’t go as you planned them? That brings us to a whole new level of stress.
But what if that unplanned moment brought you clarity? As crazy as that might be, it’s true! I believe that the gifts we need in life are actually revealed when things don’t go as we planned. I have my own personal experience with embracing the unexpected that I'm sharing with you, along with how this idea applies to you and your classroom right now.

Truly a Beginner Teacher Talk for First Year Teachers!!

I enjoy her podcast !! I am a second year substitute teacher and in the process of becoming a first year teacher so I am using this as my additional learning source to learn from. I also bought her academy course, and I don’t regret joining her Academy for New Teachers. It’s been super helpful. I appreciate all the hard work that Dr. Lori does to help new teachers. She’s incredible!! ~ Maricruz Parra
