Below Deck's EJ Jansen (on Captain Lee, Kate Chastain & All Things Below Deck)

Below Deck's EJ Jansen (on Captain Lee, Kate Chastain & All Things Below Deck)

Below Deck’s EJ Jansen steps Behind The Rope. Checking in from his home in Victoria, Canada, EJ is here to tell it all. Let us start at the beginning. EJ knew our fearless leader Captain Lee for several years before Lee appeared on our TV sets on the hit Bravo show. EJ talks about how he met Captain Lee and how that working relationship and friendship began. He explains how he got involved with Below Deck, yes it was because of Captain Lee and an unexpected source, Jay Z, yes Jay Z, what filming the show was like and just how “real” is Below Deck. EJ discusses his first impressions of Kate Chastain, how those impressions changed over the course of the season, and what the status of their relationship is like today. He discusses the level of actual “work” Kate did in her job as Chief Stew during their season together versus being treated like a reality television personality filming one of Bravo’s top rated TV shows. EJ analyzes why he thinks Below Deck is one of the highest rated Bravo shows of all time and sheds light onto just how hard that show is to film logistically. EJ shares stories of real life charters with Billionaires, Millionaires and famous faces such as Paris Hilton and Dennis Rodman. He also explains the power boat owners have to demand the staff act and look a certain way and just how behind the times the yachting industry may be in terms of, not only the “me too” movement but also diversity and inclusion. Finally, amid Covid, EJ provides a ground breaking way to film the next seasons of Below Deck / Below Deck Med, an idea we deem brilliant that you must listen to to believe!! Tune in now.

Heather Marianna (90 Day Fiancé) - on RHOC, RHOBH, RHONY & 90 Day Fiancė)

Heather Marianna (90 Day Fiancé) - on RHOC, RHOBH, RHONY & 90 Day Fiancė)

Heather Marianna from Bravo’s “Tour Group” Steps Behind The Rope. What? You don’t remember that show? Neither does Heather. Ok she does, she has just tried to block it out of her mind. We discuss how she showed up for “Tour Group” expecting a bunch of hot young singles and, well, that isn’t quite what she got. She discusses what happens when you show up to film a reality TV show for Bravo and just don’t feel like filming it. Hint: Producers and Bravo don’t take lightly to such things. We also talk about Heather’s recent appearances on 90 Day Fiancé. Do tell. She does. Heather knows a thing to two about having a fiancé. She has been engaged thirteen, yes, that is correct, thirteen times. Besides starting on several reality TV shows, Heather is a reality TV junkie and also knows many of our favorite Housewives. We discuss it all RHOBH, RHONY, RHOC. Speaking of RHOC, Heather is very good friends with Jesus Jugs herself, Miss Alexis Bellino. Don’t let Heather’s playful attitude fool you though. She is CEO and Boss B of Beauty Kitchen, an all natural beauty line which is the “go too” product for all of our favs such as Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter. Heather is filled with stories from Behind The Rope and is more than happy to share. Thanks for the products and stopping by Heather!

Sukihana (on Love & Hip Hop, Cardi B, Lil' Kim, Her Music, & Only Fans)

Sukihana (on Love & Hip Hop, Cardi B, Lil' Kim, Her Music, & Only Fans)

Love & Hip Hop’s Sukihana steps Behind The Rope. Don’t judge this book by its cover, Sukihana is really smart, something she says is "not assumed" and the biggest misconception about her upon first glance. Actually, Sukihana, who named herself after a restaurant that she loves, is a marketing savant who makes approximately $100,000 per video on Only Fans. No really, she bought a Bentley with her Only Fans coins. That marketing savviness has also helped her amass a whopping 1.3 Million Instagram Followers who watch her every move. Those moves include putting “it all” out there for the world to see and enjoy. Extremely body and sex positive, Sukihana is open about her upbringing, becoming a Mom at a young age, and finding social media stardom by living her authentic life. She discusses how she handles social media trolls and how she is able to maintain that positive attitude of hers on a daily basis. Of course, we discuss Sukihana’s time on Love & Hip Hop: Miami and how she became an instant “fan favorite” of the franchise. We also discuss those infamous Love & Hip Hop reunions, hosted by our friend, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Claudia Jordan. David & Suki discuss which of the Peach Holders are their favorites and who is the best “reader”. We also discuss her featured role in Cardi B’s wildly popular “WAP” music video, what it was like to work with Cardi, and what she thought of Kylie Jenner’s star turn in the video as well. Finally, Sukihana discusses the release of her brilliant “Wolf Pu$$y” mixtape, her musical influences such as Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown (who David saw during one of Kandi Burruss’ “Welcome To The Dungeon” live shows) and answers the question, what is next for Sukihana? In a nutshell, a lot as she is one busy woman!! Enjoy.

TRINITY "The Tuck" TAYLOR - (On Winning Drag Race & Much More!) - Part I

TRINITY "The Tuck" TAYLOR - (On Winning Drag Race & Much More!) - Part I

Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor steps Behind The Rope. We are not worthy. Checking in from her home in Orlando, Florida, Trinity stops by to chat about all that she has been up to since we last saw her on our TV screens on RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 9, All Stars Season 4). Originally from a small town outside Birmingham, Alabama, Trinity entered a drag competition at a local bar when she found out you could win money. She entered and lost. After two more tries she won the competition, kept winning week after week and was eventually asked to not enter in order to give others a chance to win. Self taught hair, makeup, clothes, Trinity took to drag like a moth to a flame. Trinity discusses the biggest misconceptions and best things about the profession, the path one takes to make a career out of drag and the business side of it all. Flash forward to RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 where Trinity found herself a contestant in the most coveted of all races. Trinity discusses filming, the competitions, the lip synchs and other behind the scenes tidbits from being a Drag Race contestant. We also discuss fellow contestants such as Sasha Velour, Peppermint, and Shea Coulee. Of course we also discuss RuPaul, what meeting RuPaul like for the first time was like and the differences between the RuPaul we see on camera versus the man behind the drag. Trinity dishes on those other Drag Race Judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews. Finally, we discuss some of Drag Race’s infamous Guests Judges such as Lady Gaga and Meghan Trainor. Oh yea, there is also that thing that happened, she won All Stars Season Four. We discuss what that was like, did she ever expect it, and what was it like to share the title with Monet X. Change.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard (Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators on The Kardashians, The Osbournes, Cher & Much More!)

Martyn Lawrence Bullard steps Behind The Rope. Martyn fills us in on what he has been up to since we last saw him on our TV Screens on Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators. By age twelve, he was using his allowance money to buy various objects at the local London flea market which he would later arrange and make look pretty. With dreams of becoming a movie star, prior to his design career, Martyn moved to sunny Los Angeles approximately thirty years ago. His first big break in design came from sitting next to Original Supermodel Cheryl Tiegs at a wedding. By the end of the wedding she had hired him to decorate her house and, from there, his design business started to take off. Martyn Lawrence Bullard Design was born. Martyn chats with us about his “Design Style” and his Design “Dos” and Dont’s”. We also chat about how Martyn was cast on Bravo’s classic “Million Dollar Decorators” and his relationships with his co-stars Mary McDonald, Kathryn Ireland, and Jeffrey Alan Marks. He also talks about that time he was a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Speaking of RuPaul, Martyn is currently decorating Ru’s home. Do tell. He does. Martyn also chats about some of his other Celebrity Clients, and their design styles, such as Cher, Kylie Jenner (whose Architectural Digest Cover was the highest ranked Design Story of all time, 1.6 Billion and Counting), Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, The Osbournes Sharon, Ozzy and Kelly, Gwen Stefani, and Cindy Crawford.

Fun, Accurate, Detailing..

I discovered David and his amazing work a while ago. The detailing of each interview is one of the reasons I decided to become a fan. Being in PR myself for years I know it is hard work dealing, being, reporting is not easy. Plus David makes it fun and his smile is the Cherry on top!!

Juicy and fun!

Kris Jenner works hard, and David Yontef works harder! He is pumping out five juicy, tea-spilling episodes every week, and he gets his usually Bravo-centric guests to let their guard down and DISH! If you love Bravo past and present, you will enjoy these energetic convos with the reality personalities you need to hear from. Go listen now!

Not this episode

I usually really enjoy your podcast but it sounded like Heather was opening and closing something. It was so distracting I couldn’t finished the episode.
