Welcome to the Being Fearless podcast! In this podcast we work on facing our fears, so we can live our best lives! I grew up with a chronic illness (ulcerative colitis) and for most of my life I allowed it to define me, hold me back, and quite frankly I lived in fear of all the things. I had sever anxiety and it ruled my life. I finally decided enough is enough and dove into the world of personal development. The truth is the only person holding you back is you. It's okay to be scared. Do it anyway! Every other Wednesday I'm bringing you inspiration to go out and do hard things!
Being Fearless with Intestinal Fortitude
This week I am having a conversation with Will, owner of Intestinal Fortitude. Intestinal Fortitude is a company he founded after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Will did an incredible amount of research around supplements to help with ulcerative colitis. He was searching for a more holistic approach to avoid taking medication. He found that he was taking a lot of different bottles of supplements and thought "hey maybe I can figure out how to make 1 supplement") and make it affordable! Obviously, supplements will not work for everyone, but if you are like me you are willing to give it a try! I've been taking his supplements for a few years and I've noticed a HUGE difference in my inflammation. This conversation is very information, especially if like me you have no idea how to read labels on vitamins and supplements! (Hint: not all are created equally!)
To connect with Will:
Don't fear rejection!
If you don't ask the question, the answer will always be no. These are words I live by. The #1 thing that hold people back from asking is the fear of rejection. Rejection sucks no matter who you are, but would you rather hear no, or live your life not knowing? I'd rather hear no. In this episode I talk about rejection, and ways you can overcome the fear of it. Instead of focusing on the outcome, focus on the fact you were brave enough to put yourself out there. That's what it should be about!
I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on rejection! DM me @beingfearlessjax

Trusting your gut!
This week I am talking about trusting your gut. Call it your gut or intuition whatever you like, but either way it's the voice inside you telling you how things are. Remember watching shows were the main character is struggling with a decision? The Devil is on one side of their shoulder and an Angel on the other? That's your gut talking. Sometimes your gut screams loudly and other times it's softer and you need to get quiet and listen. In the episode I share a big event where I did not listen to my gut. Although it is part of my journey, my gut was telling me what I was about to do was not right. I'm giving you some tips to help you get in tune with your gut, all you gotta do is listen!
Everyone's got their sh*t
New intro, who dis? I'm trying out some new intros because I'm working on doing some re-branding. Have no fear, I will still be keeping with the being fearless theme! This week I am talking about being a recently published author. It's pretty surreal to know that after 2 1/2 years the book is out in the world and people are reading it! I give you all the details about how I published it and quick (like uber quick) synopsis of my journey with ulcerative colitis.

Dating with Melissa
It's that time again where I sit down and chat with one of my single gal pals! I know you love a good dating podcast! This week I am chatting with Melissa Rhae. Melissa is a single mom trying to navigate the world of (pandemic) dating. Melissa hosts the Facebook group "New England Singles" and has helped people get together! She started the group because she realized she had a lot of single friends and wanted to put them all together and see if sparks flew! It's a pretty fun group! Melissa shares the challenges of dating as a single Mom and she shares her positive outlook on dating in general.

One year later...
Can you believe it's been almost 1 year since the pandemic?! I give you guys a rundown on my past year and what I've learned. I also talk about embracing change and give you tips about how to get through it. Let's face it, the last year hit us with a ton of change and guess what? WE SURVIVED! Take this as an opportunity to remember you can do hard things!
I also touch upon the fact that at times goals can be harmful. I am a goal oriented person and sometimes I make some big goals that are not attainable and drive myself bonkers to get there. I recently learned to take a step back. It's great to have goals but sometimes things take time. It takes as long as it takes. Don't beat yourself up about not getting there in a time frame you created for yourself! Be patient!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the last year! Shoot me a message on instagram!
