BMBG[SEASON THREE. FINALE]- Rounding up 2020
In our season finale, we rounded up 2020! We started from describing our 2020 in two words all the way to discussing the massive impact covid-19 has had on the entire nation.
We also discuss the things that need to be left in 2020 alongside the reality of our ultimate purpose as muslims in this world. We definitely came to the conclusion that covid humbled us ALL!!
We hope you enjoy this episode and take many valuable lessons from what we discuss and can also apply them to your 2021 In Shaa Allah.
BMBG[SEASON THREE.EPISODE 7]-When is enoug,enough?
In this episode of the BMBG podcast we talk about when enough is enough and setting boundaries. Often in life and especially as women we allow people we consider close or our loved ones to have full accessibility to us which sometimes can become draining to ones health and peace.
However, there comes a time when boundaries need to be put in place. When people hear boundaries, they usually feel as though that person doesn’t want to see them or spend time with but 9/10 that isn’t the case. Boundaries aren’t bad a thing but more of a guideline to protect your happiness and sanity and for others to respect that.
Do you know when your enough is enough?
BMBG[SEASON THREE.EPISODE 6]-Africa Needs Help
I am sure we are all aware of what is currently going on in Africa and has been going on for many years. we as the youths in Africa and the youths in diaspora can no longer turn a blind eye to what the government of these countries are doing to the innocent people and less fortunate.
Open discussions need to be happening everyday, protests need to be taken place and accountability needs to be held by the governments who are trying to run Africa to the ground.
In this episode, we WERE actually suppose to discuss Nigeria and Congo as a hot topic but BECAUSE of how heartbreaking and close to home this topic was for all three of us, we ended turning it into our main discussion. This episode we touch on #endsars in Nigeria and the #silentholocaust happening in Congo. we are fully aware that there are so many of countries in Africa and outside the African continent that are facing inequality and brutality but we were so limited on time
We hope this episode allows you to learn more about what going on in Africa and encourage you to the support in however many ways you can.
BMBG[SEASON THREE.EPISODE 5]-All Things Marriage
In this episode, we speak all things marriage. We discuss what marriage means to us, the pressure of society and completing half of your deen.
Now we all know marriage isn’t a walk through the park and we should all strive to be the best we can, but we don’t think marriage should be your sole identity, marriage shouldn’t be the only thing you strive more. Islam is more than marriage and we need to learn to love Allah by ourselves before looking for a spouse to do that for us.
We hope you enjoy this topic and find it beneficial whether you are married, about to get married or looking for marriage.
