Sons of Anarchy might be the greatest drama written for television and I nearly missed it!

I’m Zac and welcome to belated binge sons of anarchy! 

Our beloved members of SAMCRO graced tv screens from 2008-2014 and I didn’t join the ride until 2018! 4 years after the series finale. 

I was a few months removed from buying my first Harley Davidson of my own - I was scrolling Netflix for something new to watch and I stumbled across that iconic photo of a bareback Jax, scull on his back, gun in his wasteband and remembered that back in college people raved about this show. So I thought I’d give it a try. 

From the first scene of the pilot - this show resonated so deep with me. This was my dream as a child played out on screen! 8 year old me wanted to be Jax Teller - he just hadn’t heard the name yet. 

So when 28 year old me saw it, he was hooked! 

Now I go back to it about once a year, not always from the beginning, not always all the way through. But always getting my fix at some point. Except last year… I waited. I saved it. For THIS podcast! 

Now we’re going back to the beginning - every episode - reliving the chaotic ride of SOA! 

I’ll dive into character choices and development, plot twists and conveniences, sprinkle in some nuggets from what I’ve learned in the real world about biker culture, and I’ll bring on some guests to join the discussion!
