Beltane 104: Tree Magic The Horn & Cauldron

    • Spirituality

Welcome to the Horn and Cauldron podcast…
Beltane is held in the northern Hemisphere on May 1, and Nov 1 in the southern hemisphere, which is about halfway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. It’s been celebrated with bonfires, visiting holy wells, fertility rituals, handfasting, honoring the fae, maypoles, feasts, and decorating with spring greenery, flowers, and ribbons.

For our 104 series, we’re exploring elemental magic related to the themes of each season, and Beltane is all about trees! In this episode, we discuss the sacred trees and groves throughout history from Tacitus’ writing to the Buddha to Christmas trees! We also explore ways to incorporate trees into your magical practice, and our own experiences with tree magic.
