Just like bands even books can have their equivalent of a greatest hits album and these adaptations are examples of that. There are lions, rabbits and continual praise of The Princess Bride movie and brief aside about the adaptation that is like ordering a gluten free, vegan pizza just for comparison.

When an adaptation of a book keeps some aspects but removes others leaving a non-direct adaptation but not one that kept only the best qualities the question then comes up. Did it keep the vibe of the story? We go over 3.5 times that this was done and why we feel that this is a legitimate type of adaptation.
