Great concept for a podcast

Asides from the great premise, this is a really well executed podcast.
The hosts are all entertaining without being obnoxious, are knowledgeable, and you can tell that they genuinely love film.
I would love for this to be a weekly podcast, keep it up guys!

Y’all can’t make enough of these!

Really really enjoying this thus far. I’ve recommended it to several people at work also. Drum up old feelings and nostalgia for older movies and she’s some light on ones that i need to watch. Great mix. Also glad that you’re keeping the picks to pretty main stream films. The last thing we want is a pick that nobody has heard of/seen. Keep it up. Looking forward to best/worst Gangster, Courtroom, Spy, and (obviously) Star Wars and Trek! I’ll be looking for the next episode daily! Thank guys. Keep it up! How about best/worst Oscar snubs?

It looks like this might have been abandoned...

And that’s unfortunate. Really loved the concept and the insight of Rob and Cody. Honestly the most annoying part of the podcast to me was John Campea and since it is his podcast that is a problem. (Note: I’m sure John is a great guy and wonderful human being. My opinion is only based around his performance on this podcast and not an indictment or criticism of him as a person)

His insight is a bit pedestrian and he seems to get too wrapped up in the topic rather than discussing the movies. For example, on the episode where they were picking the best and worst of the 2000 Best Picture winners, he couldn’t let go of the topic and had to continually give vocal reassurance (maybe to himself?) that he couldn’t believe they were calling any of those movies “bad”. Dude, you weren’t. It was simply a ranking of what you believed was the lowest ranked movie from a given sample set.

It’s an opinion show. Have fun with it and don’t take yourselves so seriously.
