I LOVE THISSSSS!!!

WOW! I had finally given up on love, but after giving this pod a castening, let me just say, I'm HEAD OVER HEELS baby! WHOO, the dulcet tones of these hip twenty-somethings stir feelings within me which I had almost forgotten how to feel.

It's so incredible to realize just how many movies there are out there which have nothing to do with me, Tom Cruise! Of course I hadn't seen any of them, but going through these babies with the BME crew, I am learning SO MUCH! And let me just say, Secretary? What a DELIGHTFUL FILM! James Spader? SEXY!

Stay Beautiful,
Tom Cruise

It’s a safe space

I love movies, but I haven’t seen many cult classics. With that said, this podcast is my jam! The show’s concept is fresh, and all of the hosts are funny. What’s cool is that everyone on the podcast seems to have a background in film, so I feel less guilty about not watching these super popular movies. Other movie podcasts tend to focus on entertainment news or feature celebrity guests, but I like how Bestest Movie Ever is more casual. It honestly feels like you’re eavesdropping on a conversation among a group of friends who really love storytelling.

Seriously, actually the bestest

I don’t listen to many podcasts (I don’t listen to any, in fact) so I was a bit hesitant because even though I’m a huge movie buff, I didn’t think that a podcast was going to grab my attention but this did, and in a big way. I absolutely LOVED this podcast. I think the entire premise is really well thought out, and not only does it make me feel less terrible for not seeing “classic” movies, but I also come away feeling as though I’ve sort of actually seen the movie. More than that, though, the podcast is really funny and all of the presenters are very enjoyable to listen to. I thought I would do something else while listening to this, but it sucked all my attention in and I was trying really hard not to laugh too loud in public at some points.
Essentially, it boils down to this: Bestest Movie Ever is the bestest. It’s hilarious, it’s smart, it’s witty, and it’s immensely enjoyable. I highly recommend this to anyone, whether you’re a movie person or not, because any person (or zombie, or animal, I don’t discriminate) will love this.
