This is our last official recording in the current studio space. We're FINALLY moving into the space & studios that we have planned on from the beginning. How do you wrap up your podcast season?

How do you wrap up your podcast season?

    BetaHaus.Life S1E16 - Summaries | Vision | Looking Ahead

Let's look back at the first season of the BetaHaus.Life Podcast. The whole point of this first season was take a look at the start of the business, and to include the stories of other people who have experienced similar shifts, changes or transitions that would shed a brighter light on the different topics we covered. We Aldo know & believe that -you- have something to say, and that you must then -choose- to be heard.

Tim Captain & Relocating Well: Stories to Stretch You

Tim Captain & Relocating Well: Stories to Stretch You

    BetaHaus.Life S1 E15 - Location | Relocation | Changing Cultures

Welcome back ! You’re diving right into another amazing edition of the BetaHaus.Life podcast! Today’s guest is our friend Tim Captian. Tim is the pastor of First Christian Church in National City, just south of downtown San Diego. Over the course of his life, Tim Captain has moved many, many times. When people ask him where he’s from, Tim often says “around” because it’s kind of hard to pin down what “home” may have been.

It’s a common thing in San Diego, because there are so many transplants here, to ask people where they’re from before you ask them what they do. Tim was born in Indiana, grew up in Zimbabwe for 8 years, then back to Indiana, off to Hawaii, back to Indiana, then on to Ohio, after college he moved to Annapolis, Maryland and then finally here in San Diego for the last 7 years. Ben did that math and Tim’s moving distance alone comes to about 28,000 miles over the course of his life.

Cassandra Altmann & locations from another point of view: Stories to Stretch You

Cassandra Altmann & locations from another point of view: Stories to Stretch You

    BetaHaus.Life S1 E14 - Location | Business | Culture

Welcome back to yet another installment of BetaHaus.Life! We are thrilled to have Cassandra Altmann in the studio today. Cassandra was the very first person we met when we moved to San Diego. She and her mom are both from here, and as we’ve found out, it’s not unusual to find that many people you meet here are transplants from somewhere else in the world.

But Cassandra has an ownership and a viewpoint on San Diego that has birthed a passion for the city in her. As a Real Estate Agent, she has a vested interest in seeing the city do well, and she loves watching people come to love the city the way she does.

As ElizaBeth, our Founder & CEO, talks with Cassandra today, think about the different areas of your city, your cultural context and the impact that does have, and can have on your business, organization & personal routines.

Podcast with a purpose

I love this podcast! Each guest is selected for a purpose and their particular story to tell. ElizaBeth and Ben are great story tellers as well, its well put together. I can't wait for their next season of Life in Beta.
