btr.org - Betrayal Trauma Recovery is a safe place for women needing immediate emotional refuge from the pain, chaos, and isolation associated with their husband’s abuse: lying, gaslighting, manipulation, porn use, cheating, infidelity, emotional abuse, and narcissistic abuse. We affirm that codependency or labeling a woman as codependent is a form of victim blaming. We help women who are in a relationship, separated or divorced navigate what to do. Pornography addiction / sex addiction, infidelity, and cheating are not a couples issue - they're a domestic abuse issue. Narcissistic abuse is not a communication issue. We help our clients recover by establishing safety in their lives and families through boundaries in whatever form that takes. Every woman on our team has experienced abuse and betrayal trauma first hand. BTR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. For past podcasts visit our website: btr.org

Thank you

There really are no words other than “Thank you.”

Your podcast keeps me grounded during my traumatic and abusive separation/divorce from my abuser.

I feel helpless and scared over our custody battle, but by listening to you I am reminded again to just trust Heavenly Father. He’s got this.

Helpful

I have only listened to 5 episodes. I pick titles that I feel will fit me in that moment, and I have enjoyed and related to everyone. I even take notes on certain things so i can remember and use later on. I wish I would have found this podcast when it first came out instead of now. Definitely helpful with great resources. Thank you for sharing your story! ♥️

So right on, I want to cry!

Every therapist needs to listen to this. 5 years of therapy caused additional trauma after the first trauma. I listen to alot of podcasts on this subject and I think this is the most comprehensive and thoughtful exploration of the topic. Thank you, thank you.
