So many ads

There’s a huge amount of ads in every episode and the bonus episodes so it’s hard to listen to.
For the bonus episodes, I would add them to the end of the season unless they are a part of the main family’s story. It’s been hard to follow season 2 for this reason, for me.

Informative, moving and well paced

This really worthwhile podcast tells the stories of different women and their families who discovered secrets about their spouses or fathers. It also has expert analysis and testimony by psychologist and those in law enforcement which made it very interesting. I had no idea this problem was epidemic and so it was deeply disturbing to learn about and how more needs to be done to root these perverts out and to lock them up.

Shameful

First of all, please stop referring to the predator as “Spence”. To say it’s insensitive to his victims to refer to him affectionately is an understatement. In addition, the hosts continue to call what he did “sexual assault”. He RAPED a child and he also raped Hope. I can’t listen further so those are the two I've noticed so far but please have the guts to be honest about the severity of what he has done. Lastly, I don’t know if it was poor editing or what but Jennifer’s conversation with Hope came across as anything but sympathetic. He preyed on Hope’s insecurities and led her into a relationship he made her think was consensual but was absolutely not. Then you went further to say you understand the band members side of the story! Because “they are a family”!? She IS a band member and they treated her like garbage by putting her through that. I really hope you try to do better but I won’t be sticking around to listen and find out.
