The book of Judges should serve as an example of what happens to a nation that is constantly turning it's back on God and doing what they believe is best in their own eyes. However, God, in His great mercy always hears us when we cry out to Him. One individual that I'd like to focus on from the book of Judges is Gideon. The story of Gideon is full of amazing parallels with our lives and how God will use us despite what we see as complete inadequacies and lack of skills.

Stay tuned for a multi-part series on the life of Gideon and how we can learn from a life where God qualified who He called to serve Him. As that famous saying goes "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called." I pray that you will be blessed as we take a look at Gideon. Blessings!
