When we give Jesus our logic, our ledgers, and our limits, we will always have enough. It’s not that we will just have a bit, but we will always have enough.

How are you at pacing yourself with your work, schooling, or responsibilities? Do you always feel like you're up against another deadline? Or do you feel room to breathe because you have good margin in your life?

When you read the scriptures, I find it fascinating how Jesus doesn't just talk about the way to eternal life, but he also talks the way to a better life in the here and now. And that's what I'm going to be unpacking this weekend: the role that resting and pacing ourselves have in following Jesus and being his disciple.

Loss is normal. It hurts in different ways depending on the type of loss...but when you think about it, loss is just a part of the human journey. Whether it's a loss of a loved one, a loss of your job, a loss of "normal," a loss of what you hoped to be doing, or a loss of memory...loss is normal and it hurts.

This weekend, this is what we are going to be exploring together.
