    You tell yourself, "it will all be OK", because intuitively you know that's the "right" thing to say, and you really want to feel that way . . . OK with how it all turns out, regardless.
    But why doesn't that work a lot of the time? Why, even after you say over and over again, "it will all be OK", you DON'T FEEL OK?
    There are three reasons I believe we do this. Obsess about how something will or will not turn out, despite telling ourselves to "let it go".

    You want to STOP doing this or that - over drinking, over eating, under-exercising, whatever. And you tell yourself that you really need to stop . . . but despite the logic, you find yourself going directly against that logic.
    There is a really good reason why the brain does this, and a really "simple" way to fix it. And using the example of drinking a little too much - or more than you'd like - is a great place to illustrate it.
    This episode is unique to my previous episodes because I take you behind the curtain - you'll be a fly on the wall in one of my private coaching sessions (of course, the client's participation has been removed to preserve confidentiality).  
    Does this over drinking example describe you? You'll get some value out of this episode. Not you? The value will translate to anything else in your life you find that you want to stop doing (or start) but just can't seem to get traction. Excellent Podcast

I am so impressed with this Podcast. Michelle is so intelligent and she has such a pleasant voice and delivers her message in a clear, concise manner. I have learned more from listening to Michelle in just two podcast than I did from the THREE personal nutritionalist/trainers that I've paid $100's of dollars to and worked with for several years. I'm so happy that I came across this podcast and I look forward to learning more. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent info

I've really liked this podcast so far (only listened to a few episodes). It's geared towards women, but has a lot of useful info for men as well. Her eating philosophy is consistent with many of the paleo podcasts that I've checked out...protein, healthy fat, and veggies; low in starchy carbs. It's a very reasonable plan, and she has a good way of presenting it. A lot of useful tips for incorporating changes into your everyday life.
