One of the most talked about cafes in Bath

One of the most talked about cafes in Bath

She’s helped to grow the socials of an independent, female led business, Good Day Café, based in Bath, to 16.9 thousand followers. This was achieved by sharing behind-the-scenes content, creating skits, and engaging with customers online and front of house. Join us as host Natalie sits down with Billie, the brains and creativity behind
their social media growth to unpick what she’s doing to help grow this business so well.

Despite having no social media experience, just a very handy acting degree, tons of creativity and a huge passion to grow the business, Billie was tasked by her boss to take photos of their goodies in-store. Come Lockdown they had to get more creative in what they were posting. This involved more video content, highlighting what was going on behind the scenes plus some hilarious skits that help show off the personality of the staff working there. Over 3 years on and they are still smashing it online, with people coming specifically to their café after seeing their content on social media.

Billie shares what she believes has contributed to such huge growth and her top tips for doing so, controversially this doesn’t include hashtags! Her and Natalie also discuss the backfire that Burger King received after they posted what could be perceived as very sexist tweet. Could this have been tweeted in the hope to gain attention or was it just a Whopper of a social media fail.
