    Closure!

    Closure!

Closure:  finality; a letting go of what once was. Finding closure implies a complete acceptance of what has happened and an honoring of the transition away from what's finished to something new. Today's episode focuses on the importance of healthy closure in relationships and other situations in our lives when we know it is time to move on.

"Closure happens right after you accept that letting go and moving on is more important than projecting a fantasy of how the relationship could have been."

(Replay) Self Care in uncertain Times (Part 2) #breakthestigma #MHAMonth

Today I returned home to the devastating news of 2 children in our district whose lives tragically ended, allegedly by their mother. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of these children and we stand in mourning with our community at large. There are no words to express how deeply the heartbreaking loss of these children has impacted many.

As we remember this month being Mental Heath Awareness Month, I am sharing a replay of a two part show focused on mental health awareness and #breakingthestigma. For both, I am joined a team of clinicians who are experts in this area. They offer tips, resources and support while sharing their experiences and how we can individually and collectively destigmatize mental health.

Today I returned home to the devastating news of 2 children in our district whose lives tragically ended, allegedly by their mother. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of these children and we stand in mourning with our school district community and our community at large. There are no words to express how deeply the heartbreaking loss of these children has impacted many. Many questions have already come to the surface around mental health, support and so many other layers unfolding.

May we take care of ourselves and look out for the well being of others who may need support. Maybe someone today nears to receive this. Be safe, be well!
