    *Scripture reading from 2:20 - 7:00
Is there some significant of the creation story from Genesis 1 being repeated to start Genesis 2? Why would God put a tree in the middle of Eden that he wouldn't want Adam and Eve to eat from? Ep. 2 - Adam and Eve

Welcome to the first official episode of the podcast and we are coming to you from the book of Genesis. We discuss the creation story, Adam and Eve and the original sin. Some of the questions we answer are:
    - What does it mean to be made in the image of god?
    - Why would eating from the tree of good and evil lead to death?
    - Was the serpent wrong?

Mickeymouce123 ,

Great discussion

When it comes to Adam and Eve, I believe Eve was easily convinced to eat from the tree is because she had no knowledge of evil or that one could lie. She didn’t know the snake had evil intensions because she simply didn’t know it existed. Just like when you referenced a child being ashamed for disobeying their parents in reference to Adam & Eve disobeying God and hiding from him; I feel as if they were both child like in a sense of innocence. They could easily be tricked just like children because they didn’t know better as they did not have the knowledge and they did not know evil. They were both told they would die if they ate from the tree but did they truly understand the concept of death or what it means to die? Have they ever seen death? I believe that Adam ate from the tree after he discovered Eve did because they were told they would die & Adam decided he was going to die with his wife. He wasn’t going to let her die alone and he didn’t want to be on Earth alone without her.

A Remnant ,

Keep up the good work!

I am enjoying your podcast, because I see it as a catalyst for bringing an understanding of the principles found in the Bible, to those who are not privy to receiving each week (as I am). As you mentioned in one of the episodes, many people skip over the book of Leviticus because they may think it’s boring. Well, when I don’t have an understanding of something, it doesn’t get my full attention either. It’s an inspiration to me as I am seeking ways to make the commandments of God more attractive to those on the outside looking in. They focus more on what we can’t do instead of what we’re privileged to do. I pray that you will have much success in this endeavor. God bless!
