This is a space where you don’t have to be “the strong one.” You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to have it all together. Hey, I’m Micaiah Gray—a Christian woman, wife, and mom. For years, I was the one who held it all together alone—while I struggled with self-criticism, anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, and feeling disconnected from myself… and sometimes even from God. For a long time, I unknowingly built my identity around my childhood trauma and the things others had said about me. I believed that who I was was shaped by my past, my pain, and my mistakes. I tried therapy, an array of unhealthy coping mechanisms (binge eating, overusing electronics, numbing, drinking, vaping, etc.), and even walked away from God at one point… but it all left me feeling more broken and alone.  Everything began to change when God started showing me who I actually was according to His Word. As God healed my relationship with Him and with myself, everything else began to shift. Gradually, my confidence, my peace, my marriage, my parenting, and my ability to receive love and support were affected too. Now, I help women like you experience that same healing, using the simple tools I teach here on the podcast. This podcast is for you if you: Are hard on yourself and struggle with your sense of self Experience painful memories, loss, or broken relationships Want to grow closer to God without guilt, fear, or perfectionism Long for healthy, connected relationships—but don’t know how to get there I’ll be here for you twice a week to teach you simple tools to renew your mind in Christ, regulate your emotions, and see yourself the way God sees you. So grab your coffee, open your journal, take a deep breath—and let’s walk this healing journey together. You don’t have to be strong here. 84 | Why You’re Still Not Over It (Even After You Forgave)

You Said You Forgave Them — So Why Does It Still Hurt? (Biblical Healing for Resentment) Have you forgiven someone… but the resentment keeps coming back anyway? Maybe you've said the words. Said the prayers. Surrendered it to God — more than once. But something still feels stuck. There's still guilt when their name comes up. Still a wall in your relationships you can't seem to break through. Still patterns of emotional pain showing up in your marriage, your friendships, your relationship with yourself — and you can't figure out why. If that sounds like you, this episode on biblical healing is exactly what you need. So many Christian women carry childhood trauma, resentment, and guilt for years — not because they aren't trying, but because nobody ever showed them what forgiveness actually looks like beneath the surface. You can want healthy relationships. You can want to heal your self-esteem and grow in confidence. But if there is buried resentment or unforgiveness quietly sitting underneath it all, it will keep blocking the deeper healing God has for you. Here's what most people don't know: forgiveness isn't just a moment. It's a process with layers — layers connected to your emotional healing, your identity, your self-worth, and even your physical health. Science and scripture are actually saying the same thing about what suppressed anger and resentment do to your body, and it might surprise you.   In this episode, you will find out: Why you're still not over it even though you thought you already forgave them, what biblical forgiveness actually is and what it is not, how childhood trauma and resentment are connected to your health and your relationships, and four practical steps toward real emotional healing and letting go for good. This is the episode that could finally help you stop carrying what was never yours to hold — and take your next step toward the confidence, peace, and healthy relationships God designed for you. 👉 And if you're still hearing that inner voice telling you you're not enough, grab your free spot for the Silence Your Inner Critic Workshop on March 31st!
