Bill is a casual movie goer; Ted is a movie fanatic. They pick a movie (usually Ted does this), watch it, and then talk about it. The result is a free-wheeling conversation about film, culture, philosophy, theology, zombies, dystopia, politics, myth, legend, and whatever else the film suggests. Listeners are encouraged to watch the movies themselves as part of the conversation.

I’m having a blast listening! Better than National Radio people I have heard. I miss good talk radio and podcasts like yours are important to me now!

Odd Couple of Movie Insight

There is a wonderful back and forth here between a movie wonk and a movie novice. Film experts and passing fans alike will find much to love in this podcast.

Yes! Yes! Yes! (Not like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally)

Cue dramatic trailer music... In a world of inane, politically-charged, and post-modern spewing podcasts, comes Bill and Ted Watch Movies. Thoughful, intelligent, and affable Pastors Giese and Cwirla are approachable, fun, highly listenable, and entertaining hosts that review and talk about what we all love - movies. I've listened to Pastor Giese's wonderful movie reviews for years on Issues, Etc. and appreciate and respect his keen insights and commentary. In particular, Pastor Giese helps us to approach movies from a Christian worldview and helps us decipher the often religious and culteral facets of movies. BTWM is the podcast I've been waiting for! (did I say Yes!?) Brilliant! P.S. Please consider reviewing the Chronicles of Narnia movies soon!
