[Extended Edition] No.42 - Simon the Magician and the Holy Spirit
In this jam-packed episode, Aaron, John, and Sage tackle the story in Acts 8 about Simon the Magician, and then promptly move on to tackle light topics such as the age of the earth, try to get down to why Paul is called a "woman hater" based on what he wrote in the Bible, and solve Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for everyone.
No. 324 - Historical Heresies Pt. 9 - Donatism
Sorry to break it to us, we aren't perfect.
[Extended Edition] No. 41 - The Heresy of Americanism
In this episode, John, Aaron, and Sage all express some unpopular opinions, a statement which could apply to the email segment OR the main topic! We talk about how our faith in Jesus should ultimately work in an American culture (hint: not that much different from anywhere else) and how easily we can confuse the ideology of a nation with the values of Jesus throughout history. Aaron also schools everyone with his spelling skills, a statement which is not at all true, but might as well be since he's writing this episode description.
No. 323 - Historical Heresies Pt. 8 - Pelagianism
The concept of "original sin" came up in the fourth century, and not everyone was having it!
Absolutely fantastic podcast. The shorter episodes are extremely informative, the hosts do a fantastic job of making scripture easy to understand, and the extended edition episodes are very thought provoking.
Thought this was going to be a good solid Christian podcast as under the “umbrella” of Christian Podcast community. Was disappointed to see it promote demonic organizations and encourage support(financial and otherwise ) for violent criminals.
A fine example of Modernist infiltration of the church that seeks approval of the culture.
A NEEDED Podcast
In many church’s today, we neglect to teach people how to read the Bible for themselves. This podcast not only teaches theology but how to feed yourself. Also, if you’re not a Christian, it’s a way to learn what the Book says from an intellectual point of view.
