Perfect for a freelancer learning about business
I found this podcast from the Honest Designers podcast. I’m starting to go full time with my design freelance career and these podcasts have been the perfect thing. I figure after listening to 49 of them, the least I could do was write a review! I am so thankful for Mike’s and Tom’s hard generosity with their hard-earned wisdom. I’ve already implemented several of their tips in deals with different. I went to design school, and most of this stuff wasn’t mentioned, it has been really practical. You may have to grit through Mike’s accent rollercoasters, but it’s worth it ;) Thanks guys, keep up the great content! I even purchased Mike’s freelance course (not sponsored to say this) and it has really helped me set up my career launch well.

I’m not in the design community and STILL get value from every episode. The transparency and honesty of these guys have made me a loyal fan. I always take away one or two really valuable insights into the design industry or on the technical aspects of marketing platforms. Even if a podcast topic doesn’t necessarily interest me, I listen anyway because the Biz Buds are so entertaining! And I’m always glad I did because I pick up something new or reinforce a value or belief of my own every time. 🥰🙌🏼
