Welcome to the podcast like any other, but better! :D The two biz bros hosting the talks are Milovan Milosevic and Zarko Kaludjerovic. Why are they relevant? Well, they aren't really. BUT, Zarko has been working in Mergers and Acquisitions for the last 9-10 years and is now the Portfolio Manager at Impact Hub working with startups. Milovan has had some mild success in sales by 100x revenue of his current company and helping raise a Series A round of 15M last year all remotely. Knows a few things about ops, sales, sports.
The aim is to bridge the gap and have a real talk about business, life, do's and don'ts. Hope you guys like it. (AND YES, its rough around the edges, very rough! :D)
EP20: Sales people are liars: True or false?
Haha, you are such a liar. Must be in sales.
Oh my, how did you manage to sell that? What did you promise thats not true?
I love these types of questions and the stigma around sales. Do you think its true?
Well, Sometimes. Maybe. Not.
Sales is closely tied with lying for ages now,but is it even true? We dive deep.
EP19: New Year's Special
Yet another awesome start of year 2020 recap. Its been shit. Recap done.
Now, we actually focus on predicting whats going to happen and new trends in 2021 and beyond. We arent some mere hindsight merchants. This will be used to talk shit if one of us missed the mark widely. Rep is at stake. Whats left of it.
Lets get it 2021!
EP18: Setting priorities
Its that time of the year. New Years resolutions aka procrastination. Yeah buddy. We said it.
In that spirit, we discuss how you should set your daily/weekly/quarterly/etc priorities. What works and what doesn't.
Lets face it: NY resolutions dont get followed mainly because its hard to stick thru it. This episode will hopefully help you out how to make it thru the "pain" (some would dare say growth) with "buzzword" actionable tips.
EP17: Starting a business
What is the most painful thing when starting a business? Making money, huh?
Well - I personally (Milovan, cuz how would you know who wrote this?) hate a different thing, WAAAAAAYYYY before that problem comes up.
Yeah, its pretty obvious. Do we tell ya? (yeah now im talking about both of us even though its still Milovan)
Well, we do literally tell ya in the episode. We talk about best first hire - what to look for - some sucesses etc.
Let us know what you think
EP16: How to spot bad leadership
Well - great topic. Both Zarko and I have had a plethora of bad leaders. The thing is we didnt always know how to spot them and what to do about it.
So we wanted to share our experiences on how to spot a shit leader and how to help yourself in your growth. Bad leaders can leave a permanent mark on your career and the way you perceive the work environment and your colleagues.
Make sure you spot that and act accordingly. Reach out if you need some help or advice. F**k bad leaders.
EP15: Remote management - does anyone know how to do it properly?
Pretentious title. Check. Great content. Check. Awesome guests. Check. Wait. That's not right as it's just the two of us. We must have made a msitaek with the tilte.
ANYWAYS - how hard is managing people remote as it's new for the majority of teams? We dive into what worked and what hasn't worked for us.
No episode would be good enough if we didnt go actionable with tips and how to improve the mental health of your remote teams. Check us out!
