Loved you since day 1
I’ve loved this show since you began all those years ago. I would have had a chance to see you live at SXSW but the culture insensitive schedulers had you at the same time as Robin Thede, and I’m a Black Woman first. Jerah - I’m always on your side (especially now that the swirl is RIP, though I understood the intent behind its existence); and I was raised DC & PG, now I live in the Commonwealth. James III - I love that you are so happy being yourself at all times, and your Kat Williams is fire. Braylock - you have brilliant analysis however, those transitions are painful, and I’m choosing to believe that you’re forcing it on purpose (Jerah - let me lie to myself). As a request, please review Something New. It’s one of my favorite movies. Hugs -TB
Fantastic
I love listening to you guys. Not only is it funny, but as a white man I am learning a lot. You guys open my eyes to a lot. I thought I was pretty aware of racial injustice in Hollywood but clearly not. You guys break it down and show an angle that my eyes would never see or think about. Thank you. Keep up the great work
This podcast is great
I really enjoy listening to this podcast and the dialogue between you three, a great movie to review on the podcast would be Clockers it is a Spike Lee Joint that started Mekhi Phifers career and has a mostly black cast and deals with drug dealers corrupting the youth and cops corrupting the neighborhood. And can you bring back the swirl for this episode and what is the name of that jazz music you play doing the swirl?
