Danielle Atkinson is the Founding Director of Mothering Justice and Mothering Justice Action Fund, organizations empowering mother activists. With experience in church-based, electoral, and community organizing, she has worked with America Votes, State Voices, and ACORN. Since founding Mothering Justice in 2012, the group has trained 1,000+ women, engaged 500,000 mothers, and led significant policy changes in Michigan. Atkinson serves on various boards and was elected to Wayne State University's Board of Governors in 2022. She lives in Royal Oak with her husband and six children.
