A Different Podcast

Black and Syndicated is, on surface level, a review of a 30 year old classic sitcom- but 30 seconds in you realize it’s so much more than that. It is all the best things about sitting watching a marathon of your favorite show, with your favorite people discussing themes, and using it as a vessel to delve into deeper issues and topics. Charmel and LaToya will have you jumping into the conversation like you’re sitting with you, laughing until you cry and thinking not just of the episode but of sexism, race relations, and the college experience and how it has evolved (or not) in the past few decades.Playfully straying from the episode to branch out on a subject or- if you’re lucky weaving in personal stories or anecdotes that may or may not related to the subject at hand. And that’s what makes this show so amazing and unique! If you love being black, if you love syndications, and especially if you if you love A Different World this is the podcast for you.

Love it!!!!

I am so in love with this podcast. These ladies really get this show. They offer a great analysis of A Different World. They are very honest about the good the bad and not ugly(there is some bad with ADW, but no ugly). If you ever watched this show then this is for you. If you have never seen the show then watch it and then listen to this podcast.
