Candid, Forthright, Delightful

I have been a fan of Stella Parton’s for 25 years. I discovered her music while being a fan of her sister Dolly’s. Stella has always been talented in her own right. A gifted singer, songwriter, actress, and performer. Her voice & styling is very different than her sister’s, but there’s a similarity. I’ve had the pleasure to see her in concert & meet her twice. She’s warm, funny, down to earth, and pretty. I have followed Stella all these years, bought the music, read the books, tried some recipes. Now she presents to us each week a 30 min. podcast where she shares with us her thoughts and opinions on everything from politics, current events, personal stories, life anecdotes, faith, and family traditions. She shares her unabashed opinions straight from the hip. She’s knowledgeable not only on the music industry, but she’s well versed and well informed on women’s rights, social issues, and domestic abuse. She believes in speaking up, speaking out, and being a positive voice in the conversation. She supports equality for all genders, sexual orientations, and religious creeds. Racial injustice has been a hot topic for Stella as of late, and she is upset and angered by the American politicians running the country in 2020. She supports police reform, the Black Lives Matter movement, and need for racial equality. Stella also has guests on her shows, often musical guests who are either well established, or just starting out. Always insightful, always fun, always thought provoking, she weaves in her faith and her music, often treating us listeners to a song from her vast musical catalog of albums. Give Stella a listen, I think she’ll charm you! (Stella come perform in Southern CA, we’ll come running to see ya’)

Respect

Episode 17 I enjoyed the intelligent conversation. People deserve to value what they work for. I believe this generation has lost respect for that. Amen! To Lady A!
