Hello and welcome to Father Matt’s Bible Studies & Sermons Podcast. I’m Matthew Mead, the Priest and Rector at the Episcopal Parish of Christ the Redeemer in Pelham, New York.

Today’s episode is my sermon for the 4th Sunday of Lent, March 23, 2023. Today we dig into the misconception that we all have that God is made in our image, rather than the Biblical truth that all humans are made in the image of God. Our assigned texts today are the story of the man born blind from the 9th Chapter of the Gospel according to Saint John, Psalm 23, and the anointing of David as the next King from 1 Samuel 16. We will also look at Genesis 1 and Song of Songs 1. God bless you and have a holy Lent.
