    BTK: Part 1

    BTK: Part 1

I think BTK takes the cake for having the longest run, a span of like 17 years. Now we've been talking killers and serial killers this entire time, but none like this. The home invasion serial killer type.
Mass shootings? Sure. Family wipeouts? Let's talk about it. But so far, this season...we've talked about eating people, wearing people, sexual mutilation...mutilation mutilation. Killing people just for sexual gratification. And this episode is not any better. Trigger warning.

So far a good listen, just one thing....

I am enjoying this show so far, I just recently found it and I’m on my third episode at the time of this review. While listening to the Ed Kemper episode I had a small nitpick to mention, so I wanted to leave a quick review. It does seem like you guys put a lot of work into your research, I listen to several other true crime podcasts and have heard details from you guys that I haven’t heard mentioned elsewhere. That’s really awesome so thanks for that! But hearing the back and forth about not believing how Big Ed was turned down by the police academy for being over the height limit, and thinking that it was because of his previous record of being institutionalized for killing his grandparents that he was really turned down over was an issue for me. When he was released from the mental institution, his record was expunged because he was a juvenile at the time of the crimes so there was no record for them to see during his background check. It was a relatively small detail but kinda bugged me. It is however the only negative thing I have for this review. Keep up the good work guys, I’m definitely a new fan!

Drinks, Dark Humor and Death

Rashad does a phenomenal job. I had binged several episodes before I even realized how long I'd been listening, because he completely pulled me in.
I appreciate that they cover a variety of cases, some that are well known, some that I'd never heard of before. And they do it all with a drink and a dark sense of humor, which is an important skill when dealing with dark topics.
I'm looking forward to the cases they'll be covering in season 3! Keep up the great work, guys!
