The Vast of Night with Andy Iwancio
In this episode I'm joined by Andy Iwancio who I met at the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas in 2022. Andy is a comedian, DJ and writer out of Seattle, Washington. The two of us chatted about the War of the Worlds, haunted mirrors, Keith Raniere and what would lure us specifically into a windowless van. We also talked about body horror, trans identity and horror tropes. Andy is so knowledgeable about all things horror it was a total blast having her on the podcast! Her new EP- Hard Trans will be available soon with a full length album coming later this year!

An American Werewolf in London with Virginia Jones
In this episode I'm joined by Los Angeles comedian and delightful goth, Virginia Jones. I met Virginia at this year's Altercation Comedy Festival down in Austin. Virginia and I reflected on 2022, seniority in comedy, the never ending story and how to tell if you are becoming a werewolf. A challenger of goth stereotypes Virginia is not a huge fan of horror so I was pleased she agreed to be on the pod. Enjoy!

The Ring with Antoinette Stevens
In this episode I'm joined by the very funny and charming Antoinette Stevens. I met her this last October at the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin Texas where she blew the doors off the places with her hilarious jokes. Antoinette chose The Ring to discuss and we talked about that and working in cyber security, how to find secret cameras in air b and b's, Iowa corn culture and her upcoming move to Georgia to be closer to her parents. The Atlanta area is lucky to gain this rising star in their scene!

Little Monsters with Sammie James
In this episode I'm joined by the hilarious Sammie James and it was such a treat to have such a connoisseur of horror on the pod! Sammie is a comedian that hosts The Badass Trans Women of Comedy and The Waiting Room, a comedy show based on stories about our health and bodies. We loved this movie so much for the duality and complexity of all the characters, even the zombies. We also discussed being pro-candy corn, the power of Neil Diamond and God's Sledgehammer.

Barbarian with Jessica Misra
In this episode I'm joined by Chicago comic, Jessica Misra. Jessica hates horror movies and was duped into watching Barbarian by a friend who told her, "it was the funniest movie they'd ever seen." Honestly, this is probably the only way we'd get Jessica on the podcast so I'll take it! We chatted about Air B and B's, bidets, the Alternating Currents festival where we met and more! Jessica runs No Gimmicks Comedy the first Friday of the month at the Lincoln Lodge and you can follow her on instagram at @jessicamisracomedy
Bloody Mary Live at Altercation
Happy Halloween everyone! This is a very special episode because it's live! As part of the Altercation Comedy fest in Austin, Texas I had conversations with comedians about their favorite horror movies. JT Habersaat, creator and curator of the fest chatted about Pearl and X, Chicago's Caitlin Checkeroski chatted about Casper, English Matt of Houston discussed Night of the Demons and Sari Beliak talked about Fire in the Sky from her home state of Arizona. This was very fun to do! Enjoy!
