POSTCAST: Fish Blanked 3-0 by the Braves
Travis d'Arnaud homered for the fifth time in eight games, and Bryce Elder worked six-plus scoreless innings in his big-league return, leading the red-hot Atlanta Braves over the Miami Marlins 3-0. The Braves (15-6) have the best record in baseball. The Marlins (6-18) have one of the worst. The Braves have won 20 of their last 26 games against Miami.

Platoons
Curious to see if you have a take on the 2023 Marlins and platoons. Segura has historically hit lefties well. Wendle has historically hit righties well. Jesus Sanchez hits righties well. There isn’t a huge sample size, but it could be assumed Bryan de la Cruz would hit lefties well. Both Soler and Avisail have historically crushed lefties and not faired as well against righties. I don’t have anybody specific in mind but would like to see us sign a few guys in the Seth Smith mold (guys who have crushed righties exclusively in their careers). It could be a sneaky way of getting an 800+ ops out of 2 or 3 positions. It would be a shame to pay 30 million for Avi and Soler to only play against lefties, but I’d rather admit a mistake and do what’s best for the team. What are your thoughts on this?
