Like a Rolling Stone Episode!

Love the podcast and I would emphatically recommend Highway 61 Revisited / Episode 1– a fantastic listen

Which Way the Wind Blows

I stirred in that gradual way I do from a night of sleep characterized by fits and jerks. Someone/something needed me and I began a slothful inventory of who: wives long gone and the era of girlfriends shrunk into perspective; the first daughter married into a family of her own; or what: the cork still in the bottle and hangovers a dim memory; no alarms this Monday - retired sort of; down the street the dog not barking but paw at my chamber door. Aha, not yet light but time to hit the bricks. I dress and feed the gentle soul despite the metaphoric frogs inside my socks (brought on by advancing age?).

Plugging my ears with buds I resume the series of Highway 61 Revisited podcasts started yesterday. Why this eternal fascination with Dylan? I don’t bother with that and dig in as the the soothing voice (Brit? Aussie?- I don’t bother with that either) begins analysis of the title track. with slide and siren it’s a fave for 54 years now.

In the end it doesn’t matter if I agree or not, although I often do. The warmth of a kindred spirit trapped in the same obsessive quest for a handle is too valuable to split that hair. And that made this escape from the chill of an early Wisconsin Fall morning so welcome. I’m new to podcasts but this, I’m quite sure, is why they exist.

A question in your nerves is lit

This is a true deeply nerdy and informed podcast for the Bob fanatic. I love how he talks about the instrumentation and out takes... the true gems of creativity! When it comes to Bob I always wants to know more. This satisfies that urge!!
I wanted this to be the title but it was too long! So here it is in closing:

A question in your nerves is lit
Yet you know there is no answer fit to satisfy
Insure you not to quit
To keep it in your mind and not fergit
That it is not he or she or them or it
That you belong to

It’s alright ma (I’m only bleeding)
